Testimonial

Over the past years, I have attended numerous electronics workshops at fishing shows and had an electronics expert work on my previous boat. But this past weekend I was blown away when Brandon Hunter, an FLW pro, spent time in my Ranger 520C with me working on issues I had with my electronics and boat set up. Not only did he balance my screens between my Gen 2 bow and console units, but he walked me through the screen shots needed, and the keys strokes required, to move quickly and efficiently between screen options and settings. He also solved trolling motor issues, and showed me data available on my Mercury ( fuel consumption rates) that will easily calculate what I used to guess at. All of his focus, was to make me better understand my Lowrance units as fishing tools, and be part of my fishing arsenal.

BUT the best advice of the day was when Brandon began explaining the options that the Lowrance had with respect to making me a more EFFECTIVE FISHERMAN! His tips, advice, and settings to use when searching for fish, locating fish, and then fishing, will certainly make me more efficient on the water. At 59 yrs of age I have spent a day or two on the water, and through each and every time Brandon suggested this or that, I was reflecting internally, 'duh, brilliant, this is why he is a pro and I'm not'. I now know how to make the electronics work for me, and maximizing changes on my Lowrance as conditions dictate.

If you are in the KY Lake area, and want to step up a notch in your fishing electronics operation, then take some advice from a pro, and drop Brandon Hunter an email at his website and spend some time with him in your boat. He's a good teacher, a good fisherman, and most of all, a good person to boot!
